Start by measuring the distance from the vanishing point
to the near line and from the vanishing
point to the far line. You can measure at
any angle you find convenient, as long as you are consistent. You can
enter fractions or decimals, e.g. “1.5”, “1 1/2” or “3/2”.

Specific Point
0 means the far line.
1 means the near line.
1/2 (or 0.5) means half way between.
1 1/2 (or 1.5) means go the whole way
from far to near, then 50% further.
-1/2
(or -0.5) means to go the whole way from near to far, then
50% further.
The lower limit is .
That's the point where objects are no longer in front of you.
Objects will go off the page before getting to this point.
If you are trying to draw a line to such a point, draw the line in
the right direction and stop when you get to the edge of your paper.
